Jolen Creme Bleach Review

I have been given the opportunity to try out  Jolen Creme Bleach*.  This is a product that lightens excess dark hair on your face.  I don't have lots of facial hair but just the odd dark hair around the lip line or chin (no idea where they come from, one minute they are not there and the next yikes!), so this was a product I was interested in trying out.

It is really easy to use just wash the area you want to bleach with soap and cold water and pat dry. Measure out the appropriate amount of product which is clearly detailed in the instructions.  You then apply the mixture to the area you want to bleach, covering the hair completely,  Leave for 8 minutes and remove with the spatula.  If the hair is not completely bleached reapply the mixture for another 5-10 minutes and then wash area with cold water.

I must admit that as the word bleach is in the product name I was really worried it would be quite harsh on my face, but I didn't notice it on at all.    I found this product quick and easy to use and pain free.

I think this is a useful product if you have a lot of dark facial hair or even for those of you with small amounts.

Jolen Creme Bleach is currently £11 for 125ml at boots.  There is a smaller version which is £4.35 for 30ml.   There is also a mild version of this product as well.

**Reposted as the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer is  currently reduced to £2.50 from £4.50. I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference.   I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed.  I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. For the price I was expecting to love it way more than I did. Primark LED Light Mask Review

I have wanted to get an LED Mask for ages but with prices for some of them at over £400 I just haven't been able to pull the trigger and buy one yet. So when I saw the LED Light Mask in Primark for £15 I just had to try it out.  The Primark version targets 3 different skin concerns with 3 different types of light sources. Aldi Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer Review - Bobbi Brown Dupe

I managed to get my hands on the newly released Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer from Aldi which is supposed to be a dupe of the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. It costs £5.99 for 50ml whereas the Bobbi Brown product costs £48.50 for 50ml. That's a big difference especially at times like these when every penny counts. The big question - is it any good? I actually really enjoyed using this primer. I have dry skin and this thick creamy primer really suited my skin. It contains vitamin c, vitamin b, vitamin e, shea butter, sodium hyaluronate & geranium oil and I found it very hydrating on my skin and it provided a great base for my makeup. My makeup stayed on all day and didn't go patchy or dry. It also has a fresh grapefruit and geranium scent which is really refreshing, but don't worry its not an overpowering smell.
