The Hero Project Vit C-30 Ultra Brightening Serum Review
The Hero Project is a relatively new British company whose mission is to find out what skincare lovers really want from products and to produce products that fit that need. They want to give us consumers products that really work and do what we need them to do, enabling us to reduce our mega stashes of beauty products that we have built up whilst we search for our Holy Grail products. So far they have only released 5 products and I have been lucky enough to try out 3 of them (you can read my review of Hyasoft Instant Moisture Boost here).
Is it any good? Well I would say that my skin has never looked better. Being well into the 30+ category I had noticed my skin had started looking uneven and blotchy and my foundation never looked quite as good on my skin as it used to. After using Vit C-30 Ultra Brightening Serum, my skin definitely looks brighter and the tone is much more even and my foundation looks as good as it used to. There are no dry patches on my face either. I am lucky that I don’t have many fine lines and no wrinkles so I cannot comment on how well this product works on those areas.
According to the website, this product is suitable for the 30+ age group and should be included in your morning skincare routine. Just add 3-4 drops onto your clean face, neck and décolletage, then follow with a moisturiser, or facial oil. They do mention that when you apply the serum you may feel it on your skin, such as a slight tingle. This just means the product is getting on with it’s job. I can feel it on my skin when I apply it, but it's very faint and fades within seconds.
The Hero Project Vit C-30 Ultra Brightening Serum is £39 for £30ml
The Hero Project is against animal testing and plastic microbeads and there are no parabens, sulphates, alcohol, phthalates or mineral oil in this product. It's also vegetarian and vegan friendly and non-comedogenic (meaning it won't clog pores).
